How it works

From the first class to a graded exam

One class to find the right starting point. Then twelve classes at a time, each one building on the last.

Three steps

  1. 01

    You book

    An assessment class

    30 minutes, 1-on-1 with a certified instructor.

  2. 02

    We assess

    A written report, same day

Readiness and musical aptitude, scored, with a recommended starting point.

  3. 03

    You decide

    Start the 12-class module

Or don’t. The report is yours to keep either way.

Nothing to pay to book

Step 1 · The assessment class

A real class, then a written report

Not a sales call. A real class, with a written report at the end.

30-minute class + two-part assessment

  • A real 1-on-1 class, with a certified instructor
  • Class readiness check: focus, following instructions, working independently
  • Musical aptitude scores: pitch, rhythm, coordination
  • Written report, same day: yours to keep either way
  • Starting point recommended: the right instrument, class length and track
  • No instrument needed to book: the instructor will advise on what to get

You keep the written report

  • Sent the same day
  • Yours either way
  • Readiness band and recommended pace
  • Signed by the instructor who taught the class

Step 2 · The 12-class module

Twelve classes at a time, in order

Every course runs in modules of twelve classes. Each module has a plan, each class builds on the last, and each week ends with one clear practice target.

Every instrument

One plan, twelve classes

  • A planned sequence, so each skill arrives when your child is ready
  • Live correction in every class, before mistakes become habits
  • One practice target each week, small enough to actually do
  • A fixed weekly slot, arranged in your own time zone

Nothing is taught at random

Class length

Matched to age and goals. The instructor recommends one in the report.

Choose a class length to see who it suits

Short and focused. Young children learn best in short bursts, so every minute is spent playing.

Enough time to warm up, learn something new and play it through properly. The length most families choose.

Room for technique, repertoire and theory in one class. Best for older students and higher grades.

Step 3 · Graded exams

Progress you can measure

Module after module, students move along the RSL, Trinity or ABRSM graded pathway. Sitting the exam is your choice; the standard is there either way.

Grades 1 to 8

Measured against recognized standards

FOUNDATION → DEBUT → GRADE 8FD12345678
  • Regular written examiner feedback on your child’s progress
  • Exam preparation folded into the normal lessons
  • Qualifications recognized internationally
