Deeksha

Vocals · Indian & Western

Deeksha holds a Master of Performing Arts in Vocal Music from Bhatkhande Sanskriti University. She teaches Indian classical and Western singing, along with keyboard basics for singers.

She teaches students of every age, in India and abroad, and has won first prizes in Indian classical competitions. Her classes are patient and structured, and nervous beginners find their voice with her.

Rishi

Guitar · Keys · Theory

Rishi is a guitarist, keyboard player and producer who has been teaching for more than 15 years. Over 2,000 students have learned with him, and his students have taken top rankings across North India in graded exams.

Outside the classroom he has played hundreds of live shows, scored a short film with RGV’s Factory and worked on advertising music. His own playing leans on Pat Metheny, John Scofield and Mike Stern, and he brings that ear for harmony to beginners and advanced players alike.

Kaustubh Mishra

Kaustubh has spent 20 years as a performer and session artist, and has taught more than 5,000 students. He founded Seven Notes Academy so that children everywhere could learn the way he wished he had: properly, in order, with someone listening.

He still teaches guitar, piano and theory himself, and every instructor at the academy is trained in the same method.
